Bullets farewell assistant coaches

The Bullets have confirmed assistant coaches Darryl McDonald and Greg Vanderjagt will depart the club.
The Brisbane Bullets have farewelled assistant coaches Darryl McDonald and Greg Vanderjagt following the conclusion of the Hungry Jack’s NBL26 Season.
The announcement comes after the arrival of Will Weaver as the club’s new Head Coach.
“On behalf of the organisation, I’d like to acknowledge the contribution Darryl and Greg have made to the Bullets over the last number of years,” Brisbane Bullets CEO Malcolm Watts said.
“They are both passionate about the game and are well respected by our players, staff and the Brisbane community.
“The dedication they have shown to their roles is greatly appreciated, and they leave with our best wishes for the future."
Weaver, also appointed as the Bullets’ President of Basketball Operations, will assemble a new coaching group.
Brisbane had a forgettable season on the court, winning just six of 33 games and finishing at the bottom of the standings.
McDonald filled the interim coaching role following the departure of Stu Lash as Head Coach.
