Dejan Vasiljevic has wasted no time making his mark in NBL1, pouring in 34 points on debut for the Sturt Sabres.
But it was his late-game heroics that truly lit up the home crowd.
With just over four seconds remaining, Vasiljevic drilled a tough three over a defender to tie the game at 86 and force overtime.
He wasn’t done there, knocking down another clutch triple with just seconds remaining in the extra period to seal the win for his side.
Vasiljevic finished six-of-11 from beyond the arc in a debut to remember.
The 29-year-old this week signed a one-year deal with the New Zealand Breakers for the Hungry Jack’s NBL27 season.
