Talking points
Stop the slide
The JackJumpers have lost three straight and desperately need a win.
Furthermore, their last win came with that epic comeback over Sydney, after they lost by 17 points in the game prior to the Breakers.
Scott Roth is hoping his team can return to MyState Bank Arena and get back on the winners' list in front of their fans.
Prather v Hamilton
Two of the biggest stars in the NBL will go head-to-head, when Casey Prather takes on Bryce Hamilton on Saturday night.
Both import forwards have been sensational to begin NBL26, and both have had to carry a heavy load due to injuries.
Whoever gets the upper hand in this matchup could be the key to winning.
What they're saying
JackJumpers coach Scott Roth on his side's position on the ladder:
"We don't talk about the ladder here in Tasmania and I've never talked about it in five years. We just worry about stacking days and taking care of ourselves.
"We could lose 10 in a row or we could win five in a row, it doesn't really matter.
"It's just you're going to be where you're going to be at the end of the season, and if you're following all those kind of things, you're probably going to be miserable all season, because you're so enthralled with everything else that's going on."
Bullets guard Mitch Norton on facing former teammate Josh Bannan:
"It's going to be fun going up against him and obviously we had a really good relationship when he was here, and still do.
"I also got to go away with him to Japan as well before the season which was good fun and he's a great teammate, but obviously now we're both fierce competitors and when we cross those four lines it's going to be on come Saturday.
"You always like to see someone like him do well, but just not against you and the longer you play the game, you build these sort of friendships and any time you have a teammate like him, you build a special bond and I'm sure we'll catch up after ...hopefully we get a win against his new team."
