Why to get SuperCoach Plus: SuperCoach NBL Classic

SuperCoach NBL Plus is free for every coach until Round 2 ends, unlocking projections, break evens and trade tools before NBL27's first lockout.

SuperCoach NBL Plus is the ULTIMATE assistant coach and every SuperCoach has a taste of it up until the end of Round 2 of NBL27.
After that it will set you back $29.95 for 12 months.
It's Dean Vickerman and John Rillie to Australian Boomers head coach Adam Caporn, Hanno Möttölä to Will Weaver, Joel Khalu to Justin Tatum ... anyway, you get the picture.
Vanilla SuperCoach NBL gives every SuperCoach the same player information – the most important, obviously, is price, but SuperCoach Plus unleashes:
- Who is going to score this week? The PROJECTIONS section runs a projected score for each of the next three rounds and the three-round average, colour-coded so a round more than 10 per cent above or below a player's own average is visible at a glance. The projections rebuild after every round based on the latest form, so the number moves with performance.
- Will he make me money? BREAK EVEN gives the score a player needs to hold his price, three rounds deep, and pairs it with the probability he reaches it. CASH COWS projects price changes for the next three rounds and the full season.
- Can I trust him? The CONSISTENCY rating is a standard deviation on a player's scoring, so a low number is a player who does roughly the same thing every week. It sits beside a projected score range, which is the honest version of a projection: not a single number, but the band the score is likely to land in.
- Does this matchup suit him? TEAMS AND VENUES carries each player's average against his next three opponents and at his next three venues, drawn from several seasons. A player who cannot score in one building is a player you do not captain there.
- Who is fit? The in-game INJURY REPORT tracks injuries and suspensions with expected return times, filtered to your own squad on the list view.
- What is everyone else doing? COACHES' CHOICE shows the most popular captain picks and how ownership has moved, updated hourly throughout the week, and you can filter it to the selections of the top one, five, or 10 per cent of ranked coaches. That last filter matters most. Knowing what the field is doing is useful; knowing what the best of the field is doing is a different thing entirely.
And then it does the work.
Two tools go past information and into action.
OPTIMISE rebuilds your starting line-up from your highest projected scorers who are named to play, picks your four best reserves, and nominates a captain and vice-captain. You can play that team or treat it as a starting point and argue with it.
TRADE ASSIST proposes the trades themselves, built around your squad rather than the competition's, and it can be pointed at a specific need: the lowest break evens, the highest projected scores for the coming round, or the players set to generate the most cash. The product's own advice is to sharpen closer to lockout, when the team news is in.

Why it matters this week
The first SuperCoach NBL lockout is 7:30pm AEST on Saturday, September 19, the same instant Melbourne United and the Adelaide 36ers tip off NBL27 at John Cain Arena. Every team is locked at that moment, and the projections are at their least useful the second before you have used them.
A price can only tell you what a player was. Five days out from a season nobody has seen yet, that is the least interesting question on the board.
