A 25-point first-half burst against Perth in December showcased just how impactful Tanner Krebs can be, and now the Melbourne United forward is reportedly attracting interest from multiple clubs across the League.
Currently a Free Agent following his best season to date, Krebs shapes as one of the most significant remaining signings ahead of NBL27.
According to ESPN’s Olgun Uluc, the 30-year-old could be the next domino to fall after a busy month of player movement.
“The next one feels like Tanner Krebs … he’s the next impact guy that’s still out there,” Uluc said on The Marketplace, presented by Paywise.
“A lot of teams are interested in him. It’s still up in the air where he might end up. He’s still assessing what his options are, but there’s a lot of interest in Tanner Krebs.”
Krebs averaged 8 points and 3.3 rebounds per game during NBL26, playing arguably his best basketball throughout United’s nine-game winning streak to open the season.
Uluc says a return to Melbourne remains a possibility, but rival clubs are expected to make a strong push for his signature.
“I think there’s still a chance it’s Melbourne United, but there’s enough interest around the League makes me think a change of scenery is not completely out of the realm of possibility for Tanner Krebs,” he added.
