Off the back of his biggest single-game SuperCoach score for the season so far, Bryce Cotton will be the most highly sought after player in the game this weekend. Cotton finished Adelaide’s win over Melbourne United with a whopping 73 SuperCoach points, despite being fouled out before the end of the contest.

Big man Zylan Cheatham is probably still Adelaide’s next best option at a much cheaper price than his superstar teammate. He only dropped 25 SuperCoach points against Melbourne, but averages 32.8 for the season and has put up 80 or more points in each of his last three double-game weekends.

Tyrell Harrison and Terry Taylor were easily Brisbane’s best players in Round 12, with 69 and 60 SuperCoach points respectively. They were also supported by the return of Javon Freeman-Liberty, who only scored 37 across the two outings but looks lively and is every chance to improve on that number.

After a week on the sidelines, Jack McVeigh continued his strong run of form in his return with 36 SuperCoach points against the JackJumpers. His teammate Andrew Andrews has also been excellent, adding another 32 SuperCoach points to his season total. Expect both stars to lead the way for the Taipans once again.

JaVale McGee maintained his elite average with a 51 SuperCoach point effort against the Brisbane Bullets last week and will be crucial for the Hawks in their games against the top two sides Adelaide and Melbourne this weekend.

Will Hickey had another excellent showing with 39 SuperCoach points in Round 12, while QJ Petersen has proven to be a terrific pick up for the Hawks, finishing the last game with 38 SuperCoach points and bumping his average up to 25.1 for the season.

Melbourne United struggled once again last weekend, though Milton Doyle was solid once again with 42 SuperCoach points for the round. Shea Ili also impressed on return with 34 SuperCoach points across the two outings and will be a focal point as the side attempts to return to form.

It’s also difficult to look past Jesse Edwards ahead of his likely return, after he didn’t feature against the Kings but finished with 27 SuperCoach points in Friday’s loss to Adelaide.

New Zealand’s starting lineup continues to work well as a unit as we get deeper into this season, and Parker Jackson-Cartwright was at the forefront once again with 39 SuperCoach points against the Phoenix.

Rob Baker II was also excellent, finishing with 31 points for the contest. While any player from the Breakers starting five would be a solid option, Jackson-Cartwright and Baker led the way and will bring the most momentum into this weekend.

Jo Lual-Acuil Jr starred for the Wildcats in Round 12 with two strong performances for the weekend, totalling 61 SuperCoach points. Dylan Windler and David Duke Jr were also impressive once again with 59 and 45 points respectively over the two games.

With those three stars coming in a little cheaper than their teammate Kristian Doolittle, who was kept quiet in both Round 12 contests, they present as slightly safer options heading into crucial games against the Phoenix and JackJumpers this weekend.

Nathan Sobey added to his long list of big totals for the season, with 53 SuperCoach points against the Breakers helping him to a 79-point finish for the weekend.

Wes Iwundu and John Brown III have supported brilliantly in recent weeks, and both were impressive once again with 62 and 61 SuperCoach points respectively.

Kendric Davis finished with a massive 97 SuperCoach points for the weekend, with his 54 points against the Wildcats being his highest SuperCoach total of the season.

Finishing with 45 SuperCoach points for the weekend, Xavier Cooks comes in pretty affordable after dropping below $300,000 for the first time this season.

The Kings have also been bolstered by the return of Matthew Dellavedova, who finished the weekend with 30 SuperCoach points.

The JackJumpers trio of Bryce Hamilton, Josh Bannan, and Will Magnay continued their strong runs, finishing with 50+ SuperCoach points in Tasmania’s pair of Round 12 victories. Bannan led the way with 77 SuperCoach points for the weekend, bumping his average back above 30 for the year.

Flynn Cameron played a key role in Adelaide’s overtime win against Melbourne, playing 38 minutes and finishing the game with 33 SuperCoach points.

Dejan Vasiljevic was also impactful off the bench and has enjoyed a solid run of form, averaging 15.4 SuperCoach points across his last five games.

Brisbane Bullets teammates Alex Ducas and Jacob Holt were both strong last weekend, finishing Round 12 with 30 SuperCoach points each. For Holt, it was his biggest double-game weekend score so far this year.

Marcus Lee played a solid role for the Taipans last weekend, finishing with 21 SuperCoach points in their game against Tasmania. Meanwhile, Mojave King is expected to return after a couple of weeks out and had some very impressive games prior to his absence.

Mason Peatling contributed well for the Hawks against Brisbane, finishing with 21 SuperCoach points for the contest, while Wani Swaka Lo Buluk only had 10 SuperCoach points but has been a consistent contributor for them in recent weeks, averaging 15.8 in the four games prior.

Despite the tough weekend Melbourne endured, Fabijan Krslovic and Finn Delany were excellent in Round 12. Krslovic’s double-double against the Kings saw him finish the round with 66 SuperCoach points, while Delany put in two consistent performances which resulted in 65 SuperCoach points for the round.

The New Zealand Breakers needed some extra depth, and they have definitely found that in Tai Webster. After a quieter start against the JackJumpers in Round 11, Webster finished Saturday’s game against the Phoenix with 19 SuperCoach points.

Elijah Pepper and Ben Henshall were both strong for the Perth Wildcats in Round 12, finishing with 36 SuperCoach points each after a pair of solid performances.

Angus Glover struggled against the Breakers on Saturday with just 2 SuperCoach points but was solid against the JackJumpers in the game prior. He finished the weekend with 16 SuperCoach points, and remains a solid pick given how high his scoring ceiling is.

Akech Aliir finished with 21 SuperCoach points for the round, and is still great value at $149,700 after his 61 SuperCoach point total back in Round 11.

Kouat Noi was excellent in Round 12, finishing with 52 SuperCoach points. His total was Sydney’s second-highest for the weekend.

Jaylin Galloway and Bul Kuol were both impressive as well, finishing with 29 and 24 SuperCoach points respectively.

Nick Marshall continued his consistent run for the JackJumpers, finishing with 34 SuperCoach points for the round, while Ben Ayre also had another very strong weekend, with 32 SuperCoach points in total.
