Breaking records and hitting a million

The Hungry Jack's NBL26 Season has seen one million fans stream through the doors.
The Hungry Jack’s NBL26 Season has reached another major milestone, with the League welcoming its millionth fan through the doors in record time.
It marks the third consecutive season the NBL has surpassed one million attendees, achieved 90 per cent into the regular season, which was 7 per cent quicker than last season’s NBL25 campaign.
Fan demand has continued to surge across the League, with 53 sell-outs already recorded this season, surpassing NBL25. Last season, 50 sell-outs was achieved in Finals, with this year’s milestone hit in 144 games, compared to last year’s in the Playoffs in 150 games.
Adelaide and Tasmania continue to set the benchmark, selling out every home game this season for the second year in a row.
NBL Group CEO David Stevenson said the milestone reflected the growing connection between fans and each club’s star players.
“The appetite for fans to follow the League, clubs, and its stars is stronger than ever,” Stevenson said.
“Nail-biting finishes and huge moments have combined to deliver yet another fantastic season.
“We’re incredibly proud of the growth we’ve seen, with both new and existing fans engaging with the game more than ever before. We thank the clubs and players for delivering a truly monumental season, and we encourage fans to come along, be part of the atmosphere, and experience the remaining games and Finals live.”
Round 21 of the Hungry Jack’s NBL26 Season tips off on Thursday night, with the Cairns Taipans hosting Melbourne United at 7:30pm AEDT, live on ESPN.
