McVeigh returns
Tasmanian hero Jack McVeigh returns to home to play in front of his former fans, and it will be interesting to see how he is welcomed.

While he helped deliver the club’s first championship just two seasons ago, many were unhappy when he requested a release to join another team.‍

Bryce in nice
Bryce Hamilton continues to put together a strong debut season in the NBL.

The JackJumpers superstar has shown he can fill it up at every level and has been required to do even more through injuries to some of his teammates.

As the JackJumpers look to bounce back from tough loss at home, expect to see Hamilton lead from the front.

JackJumpers coach Scott Roth on his team's rebounding issue:
"We got smashed again on the glass [against Perth], which has been a huge problem for us.

"We continue to harp on it and it's from all positions, not necessarily the two bigs.

"Teams are quite aggressive getting to the glass [against us] and until we can stand our ground and man up, we'll continue to have this problem and it'll cost us."

Taipans coach Adam Forde after his side's recent loss to Brisbane:
“This is not great, this is bad basketball … we have to address it right now.
