Recruit Tanner Krebs will add to South East Melbourne's downtown potency during the Hungry Jack's NBL27 Season.

Over his time with South East Melbourne, Josh King has been recruiting players that suit his style of play, which is high-paced offence and tough defence.
The former was last season characterised by a league-leading three-pointer made (423), well above the second-placed Sydney Kings (345).
Not only that, they were second in the League in pace (82.3), behind only Illawarra (82.4), which helped the Heartland club also finish second in offensive rating (121.4), with champions Sydney (123.2) only above them.
As such, the signing of Tanner Krebs makes a lot of sense for the high-octane Phoenix, with the wing converting on a career-high 48 triples, at a career-best 38.4 per cent, during the Hungry Jack’s NBL26 Season.
Adding Krebs to a shooting core that already consists of Nathan Sobey (117 made triples - second highest number in League), Angus Glover (77 made, for sixth-best) and Jordi Hunter (53 made), the Phoenix appear set to be even more lethal next season from downtown.
This a sentiment echoed by Phoenix General Manager of Basketball Operations, Simon Mitchell.
“We feel Tanner is a great fit for what the Phoenix is setting out to achieve in this free agency period,” Mitchell said.
“His length, and obviously his shooting ability, will fit in with our style of play.
“He’s an elite shooter, in the prime of his career, who will fit in seamlessly with the returning Phoenix players.”
The Phoenix also have Owen Foxwell and Ellis Biggar, as well as reported signing Hunter Goodrick, contracted for next season.
