Talking points
New Zealand's encore
The Breakers had a 42-point win over the Hawks last round and will be hoping that play can spark a good run before the break.
Led by Sam Mennegna, who is in All-NBL form, the Breakers came out firing and never looked back.
Now their task is to repeat that kind of performance, especially in front of their home fans.
Cotton's warm-up
It’s a big round for the five-time MVP, who will have his first game against his former team on Sunday.
However, first he must travel to New Zealand and make sure his team comes home with another win.
While Adelaide will say they’re only locked into their next game, it’s human nature for Cotton not to have a small thought about what’s coming after this.
What they're saying
Breakers guard Parker Jackson-Cartwright on strong start to the season of teammate Sam Mennenga:
That guy (Mennenga) is one of the hardest workers I've been around.
"He doesn't get talked about enough in this league, and I don't know why.
"He's showed it every game this season and he's going to continue to prove himself because he loves the game.
"He's a professional and he's just he's a dog. I love him and I'm happy for him."
36ers import Nick Rakocevic on playing seven games in the next 20 days.
“Every basketball player, they want to play games so that's good, but in terms of body and recovery and stuff like that, you know, we’ve just got to be careful.
“We’ve got to be mindful and just make sure that we're practising the right way, and guys will take care of their bodies, especially guys like, you know, Bryce (Cotton), Z (Cheatham), and Isaac (Humphries), (who play) 30 minutes a game, 35 minutes a game.
“Everybody's just got to take care of their bodies especially because you have quick turnarounds like this, just, you know, mentally and physically need to be prepared and just take it day by day.”
