Kendric Davis had 38 points, Xavier Cooks didn’t miss and the Sydney Kings romped to a 29-point Friday night win over the Perth Wildcats.

Kendric Davis put on a spectacular 38-point show, Bul Kuol delivered a defensive masterclass and the Sydney Kings dominated the Perth Wildcats at RAC Arena for the 108-79 Friday night win.

Even with the Kings only leading by a point at quarter-time and by two at half-time, there was a feeling of the control they had over the game and that all came to fruition in the second half.

With last season's MVP runner-up, Davis, unstoppable on his way to 38 points, eight assists and five rebounds on 7/13 three-point shooting, the Kings outscored the home team 64-37 in a remarkably dominant second half in front of 10,958 fans.

Not only did Davis dominate up one end for Sydney, but Kuol put on one of the most stifling defensive performances of the season in what was a masterstroke from coach Brian Goorjian to put him to Perth four man Kristian Doolittle.

Doolittle didn’t score on three shot attempts in the first half and finished the night with a frustrating five points on 2/10 shooting with two turnovers with the Kings +22 in Kuol's 20 minutes on the floor.

Davis nailed four triples among a 14-point scoring blitz in the third quarter to break the spirit of the Wildcats who were still reeling after losing in Bryce Cotton's return on Sunday giving up 19 of the last 21 points.

Sydney continued the demolition job in the last quarter as Perth's fight evaporated, with the 29-point margin the equal biggest loss they've suffered on RAC Arena.

Kouat Noi also got rolling with 6/8 from behind the three-point arc for 23 points with Xavier Cooks nailing all seven of his shot attempts for 17 points, six rebounds and three assists with Tim Soares adding nine points and five boards.

It was a rough night for the Wildcats who shot just 33 per cent from the field opposed to the 56 from the Kings with Dylan Windler finishing with 14 points and eight rebounds, and David Duke Jr 13 points and seven assists.

But like Doolittle, marquee centre Jo Lual-Acuil Jr had a night to forget with nine points, six rebounds and two blocks on 3/11 shooting.

The Wildcats fought hard in the first half, but the way they wilted in the second half would be of huge concern to coach John Rillie.

The three-point blitz from Davis propelled Sydney to a 76-63 lead by three quarter-time.

And Perth's fight evaporated almost completely in the last quarter as Sydney outscored their opponents 32-16 in front of shocked Wildcats fans.

Both teams now have the super quick turnaround to back up on Sunday on the road with the Kings playing Melbourne United first up before the Wildcats take on the Brisbane Bullets.
