"He's the best to ever do it": Sixer praises MVP

Adelaide 36ers' Flynn Cameron believes his superstar teammate Bryce Cotton is the "best" scorer the NBL has ever seen.
With five MVP's and three NBL championships to his name, Bryce Cotton has already established himself as one of the competition's all-time greats.
But each passing game, the incredible resume of the Adelaide 36ers superstar continues to grow.
In the space of 48 hours, Cotton powered his league-leading Sixers to a comeback win over Sydney and a gutsy victory against Brisbane.
In the latter, the 36ers trailed the Bullets by seven points, with Cotton only two free throws to his name.
But the 33-year-old American came to life in the second half, scoring 21 points to help his side record a crucial comeback win.
Following yet another heroic performance by Cotton, his Adelaide teammate Flynn Cameron said the superstar was the "best to ever do it".
"He's the MVP [for a reason]," Cameron said in Sunday's post-game press conference.
"You kind of just watch him do his thing and then he kind of just pulls something out of nothing.
"He always makes the right read, especially when they send two, three guys at him. He's such an unselfish player.
"But you also know when it comes to that time to put the ball in the hoop, he's the best to ever do it at the NBL level."
As impressive as Cotton has been during his first season in Adelaide, coach Mike Wells was also quick to highlight the exceptional play of Cameron, who backed up a career-high 25 points on Friday with 18 on Sunday.
Through the first 23 games of the season, the New Zealand international is averaging career highs in points (11.4), rebounds (4.7), assists (2.7), steals (0.8), blocks (0.2) and field goal percentage (44.6).
"Flynn Cameron was phenomenal again throughout the game on both ends of the floor," Wells said after Sunday's win.
"What he brings to us is toughness and there's a lot of words I could use to describe this young man but he's sitting next to me and his dad's out there in the stands. I couldn't be prouder for him to play that way.
"He plays a type of basketball that's really impressive in this day and age because he's really skilled. He's shooting the ball. He's getting it to the rim. He's making threes and then he's taking the other team's best offensive guy a lot of times. He's playing a complete game.
"What you see today, from where he started out in August when he arrived, he's just leaps and bounds. He's getting better every game."
The 19-4 36ers host Tasmania on Friday from 7.30pm AEDT, live on ESPN.
